As you know, there are 5 main elements in the narutoverse:
Fire
Wind
Water
Lightning
Earth
but by combining these elements, you can create bigger more powerful jutsu, but all of them must be based on your bloodline, observe;
Water/Earth - Wood
Water/ Fire - Steam
Water/ Wind - Ice/Snow
Fire/Earth - Crystal
Lightning/Earth - Magnetism
